The University of Toronto at Scarborough welcomes your interest in recruiting our students and we have many services in place to help you do so.

Posting a position

The three campuses at the University of Toronto have teamed up to make advertising a position easier for you. If you advertise with one campus at U of T, you advertise with all three. If you would like to target students from a certain area you will have the chance to do that by filling out the "location" icon in the advertising form.

You will only need to register once. After that, you will have complete control over your postings, you may look them up, modify them or cancel them at any time. The best part about this service is that it is free and it is heavily used by students.

Step by Step Instructions for Posting a Position

New Users

1. Visit www.careers.utoronto.ca
2. Select 'Employers'
3. Click 'Register/Login' on the side bar
4. Choose 'New User'
5. You will be prompted to register as an organization or register as a private individual wishing to post a casual position
6. At the time of registration, you will be able to post up to 5 work opportunities
7. Once your registration is verified, we will send you your user id via email
8. Keep a record of this id, and your password entered at the time of registration, in order to return and post future positions

Returning Users

1. Visit www.careers.utoronto.ca
2. Select 'Employers'
3. Click 'Register/Login' on the side bar
4. Enter your password and user id
5. Once logged in, you will be directed to your personal homepage
6. Select 'Your Account', 'Your Jobs', from the side bar
7. Click on the link ' Add a new job'

• An email will be sent to you within 1 business day to inform you that your job listing was successfully posted to the website, completing the process.
• Your employment listing will be posted for 30 days OR until your specified deadline date OR until we are otherwise notified.
• Students will view your listing and assess their suitability for the position. Please note that the Career Centre does not pre-screen applications.

Co-op Programs

The University of Toronto at Scarborough offers many Co-op programs that may suit the job that you are wishing to advertise.
To advertise a co-op position please contact Arts & Science Co-op or Management Co-op.
